How is a Drucker Parisian rattan café chair made?
The Parisian rattan café chair, like all other Maison Louis Drucker furniture, is made following these steps:
- Remove thorns from the raw liana;
- Cut the liana respecting the natural nodes of the rattan;
- Calibrate the poles according to the different structures to be made;
- Heat the poles in a steam oven so that they are malleable;
- Bend the steamed poles onto the molds of the chair to be made
The last step consists of weaving on the rattan structure according to the weaving pattern chosen from our range of
