Nos designers - Maison Louis Drucker

Maison Drucker at the Service of Designers

Interior architects and designers from all over the world have not only incorporated rattan furniture into their decoration projects but have also wanted to design models for Drucker collections.

Some simply revisited existing models, as did Jacques Grange, by modifying the shapes, dimensions, weaves, and color combinations. Others reinterpreted this legendary brand in their own way, without appropriating it, thus demonstrating the creative richness of the house and its ability to adapt to today's world while maintaining its poetry and identity. The majority, however, played with existing weaves and colors and personalized them.

Adding to the established collections, these creations have become true sources of inspiration. This is the case with the seating by Christian Biecher, Patrick Norguet, India Mandavi, and Gilles Boissier or François Champsaur, who completely rethought an iconic armchair of the house to make it a bestseller. "Most of the designers we collaborated with knew the brand well before working for it," explains Bruno Dubois. "This was the case with Philippe Starck, to whom Maurice Drucker would have liked to entrust the future of his house before selling it, already guessing that Drucker's image and development would come through design."

Bruno Dubois thus developed Drucker's offering by collaborating with the talents of his time and participated in numerous decoration fairs, including Maison Objet, to unveil and enhance the incredible chromatic palette of the creations. The ensuing media coverage and work with major interior design agencies, mainly French, English, and American, contributed to developing a library of decors with thousands of photographs. The result of these efforts, more broadly aimed at foreign markets, is the export of 60% of production.
