Our manufacturing lead times
At Maison Louis Drucker, most of our furniture is made to order, hand-woven in our workshops. This manufacturing time is the time of the artisan’s gesture: selecting the rattan, weaving the cane by hand, assembling the colours and patterns one by one. Rather than hide it from you, we prefer to state it clearly — so that you know, from the very start, when your piece will reach you.
Two things make this lead time vary: the type of furniture (a lacquered model, a folding chair or an aluminium piece do not require the same work) and the quantity ordered (a few pieces ship faster than a large series). The table below summarises our reference lead times; our teams always confirm the exact lead time when quoting.

The lead times shown correspond to availability ex-workshop (excluding transport), from France.

The “small quantity” lead time applies to orders whose volume is less than or equal to the indicated threshold. Beyond that, the “large quantity” lead time applies. These durations are indicative: we confirm the precise lead time when the order is placed, depending on your project and our workload.
A few concrete benchmarks
- In a hurry? Our in-stock furniture ships within 1 to 2 weeks.
- Our lacquered models are among the fastest to produce made-to-order: allow around 2 months for a reasonable order.
- Made-to-order folding chairs are produced quickly for common quantities: 2 to 3 months.
- 3 made-to-order rattan chairs? Allow around 3 months. For a large series, the lead time naturally extends (up to 5 to 8 months).
- Aluminium pieces or those made in Indonesia require more time: these are our longest lead times, to be anticipated for large-scale projects.

Our made-to-order furniture is crafted especially for you: choice of colours, weaving patterns and finishes. It is this extra time that gives each piece its uniqueness and quality.
