Anthony Guerrée

Anthony Guerrée

Trained at the École Boulle — where design is inevitably approached through the lens of fine craftsmanship — Anthony Guerrée placed himself early on in a reflective dynamic oscillating between tradition and innovation. An apprenticeship that took him as far as Japan to collaborate with a master glassmaker.
Passionate about the ensembliers of the 1930s, he joined Studio Andrée Putman in 2010 to lead projects with great craft houses. He also designs custom furniture for interiors in France and abroad.
In 2015, he joined Christophe Delcourt, accompanying him for 5 years in designing furniture for the Delcourt Collection as well as in his various collaborations with French and international firms such as Minotti, Collection Particulière and CC-Tapis.
In 2020, Anthony Guerrée opened his own studio and developed his own writing — the fruit of his travels, encounters and readings. "The Seats of Time Lost", his first furniture collection, is inspired by characters from Marcel Proust. For this collection, Maison Drucker built a very original medallion-back chair named Odette. After a first model exhibition at Galerie Gallimard in 2019, a book published by Bouclard editions in 2020, 8 seats were exhibited for the first time at Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris in partnership with Atelier Jespers in February 2021.
