Christian Biecher
An architect, designer and urban planner, Christian Biecher has designed and led numerous private and public projects in France, Europe and Asia: the Tur buildings in Tokyo, the Harvey Nichols department store in Hong Kong (2004), the renovation of the Budapest Stock Exchange (2011), an office complex in Prague, the new Printemps store in Strasbourg, as well as major urban projects with the Bois-Sauvage district in Évry and the modernization of La Grande-Motte. A virtuoso of clean lines and light-bathed spaces, a 1989 graduate of the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Paris-Belleville, he also excels in the design of decorative objects for prestigious international brands — Baccarat, Christofle, Lancôme, the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres. Christian Biecher's work makes the front pages, from the Korova restaurant in Paris to the Trois-Roses vase designed for Baccarat in 1998.
