Description

The green Houlgate rattan armchair has a lovely history. It was found in a private home in Houlgate with predominantly blue colours. It is a 1940 Maison Louis Drucker model that Maison Louis Drucker was delighted to restore and republish. This armchair is enveloping, woven in a clever jacquard with unexpected and attractive satin colours, luxurious and unique, it will find its place in an original, cheerful and refined decor.

Usage

Furniture with a rattan structure is classified as “semi-outdoor,” meaning it can be placed outdoors under a shelter that strictly protects it from rain, except near bodies of water (seas, lakes, rivers). For these areas and for full outdoor use, we recommend our “outdoor” ranges with an aluminum or galvanized steel structure.

Is there a difference in quality between the dark rattan (Malacca) and the light rattan (Manila)?

No, the color of the rattan has no influence on its quality. The dark rattan (called Malacca) is the traditional rattan for Parisian terraces.

Is it possible to change the seat height of a chair?

Yes. the standard seat height of 45cm can be lowered down to 38cm or up to 90cm to create a high chair.

What is the difference between the choices of finishes (elegance, tradition and heavy duty) proposed by Maison Louis Drucker?

Weaving of the seat can be stopped under the seat (elegance), on the side of the seat with the natural ring (traditional) or on the side of the seat with the plastic ring (heavy duty)
