He created a right-angled backrest woven in a range of colors, two of which are used to create mirlitons around the dark rattan legs for the Beaux-arts rattan chair. Furniture with a rattan frame is classified as ‘semi-outdoor’, meaning it can be placed outside under a shelter that fully protects it from rain, but not near bodies of water (such as seas, lakes, or rivers). For these areas and for fully outdoor use, all our rattan-frame furniture can be made with an aluminum frame instead.
