Maison Louis Drucker’s rattan chair, known for its lightweight and stackable nature, has always been easy to move and store. It’s in this spirit that in 2007, Bruno Dubois, CEO of Maison Louis Drucker, had the idea to apply the skills of the company’s weavers to folding metal structures. This innovative concept quickly gained notable success, capturing the attention of decorators, including India Madhavi, and sparking interest from imitators. The backrest and seat frame, made of marine plywood, are woven with the same variety of colors and jacquards as traditional rattan furniture. The Tuileries folding chair, comfortable, discreet, and always ready to be used, is ideally designed for outdoor use.

What is the difference between the choices of finish (elegance, tradition and heavy duty) proposed by Maison Louis Drucker?

Weaving of the seat can be stopped under the seat (elegance), on the side of the seat with a rattan border (traditional) or on the side of the seat with the plastic border (heavy duty)

Is there a difference in quality between the dark rattan (Malacca) and the light rattan (Manila)?

No, the color of the rattan has no influence on its quality. The dark rattan (called Malacca) is the traditional rattan for Parisian terraces.

Is it possible to change the seat height of a chair?

Yes. the standard seat height of 45cm can be lowered down to 38cm or up to 90cm to create a high chair.
