Christian Biecher

Architect, designer and urban planner, Christian Biecher has designed and led a number of private and public projects in France, Europe and Asia: the Tur buildings in Tokyo and the Harvey Nichols department store in Hong Kong in 2004, the renovation of the Budapest Stock Exchange in 2011, then a set of office buildings in Prague and the new Printemps store in Strasbourg, as well as major urban planning projects with the Bois-Sauvage district in Evry and the modernisation of La Grande-Motte. This virtuoso of clean lines and spaces bathed in light graduated in 1989 from the National School of Architecture of Paris-Belleville, and also excels in the design of decorative objects for prestigious international brands – Baccarat, Christofle, Lancôme and the Manufacture nationale de Sèvres. The creations of Christian Biecher dominate the headlines, from the layout of the Korova restaurant in Paris to the Trois-Roses vase designed for Baccarat in 1998.
