François Goffinet

Even before joining the courses of the Royal Horticultural Society in Wisley, François Goffinet had benefited from an excellent apprenticeship in the magnificent Annevoie water gardens created by his grandfather around 1750.
To date, his company, François Goffinet Limited, has offices in London and Chevetogne (Belgium). His projects concern public or private properties of several hundred hectares as well as small private gardens. These include some of the most famous historic estates in Europe and the United States as well as new contemporary gardens. For his projects, François Goffinet brings together several teams of people belonging to very different disciplines – like an 18th century workshop: landscapers, botanists, horticulturists and historians of architecture and gardens. He also calls on many craftsmen to finalise his designs with the greatest respect for the know-how of each discipline. It is with them that he continues to create a collection of garden furniture (wood, rattan, metal) in order to satisfy a demand for refined furniture as well as many other custom-made garden ornaments. François Goffinet called on Maison Drucker to produce garden furniture.
